inp.polri.go.id - Semarang. The case of the Jeep Rubicon car theft in the Gentan area, Baki, Sukoharjo, has finally been revealed. The perpetrator was arrested in Jakarta after stealing the car belonging to billions of rupiahs.

It has been successfully secured, and the evidence is the perpetrator of the theft, said the Director of the Central Java Regional Police, Pol. Grand Commissioner Djuhandhani Rahardjo Puro, during a visit to the Solo Police, Monday (11/01/21).

Central Java Regional Police's Directorate of Criminal Investigation said the perpetrators brought the car to Jakarta. The perpetrators also had time to replace the original number plate.

This case was successfully revealed by the Jatanras of the Central Java Regional Police in collaboration with the Sukoharjo Resort Police's Criminal Investigation Unit.

According to the information gathered, the authorities are investigating the case of the theft of the Jeep Rubicon B 13000 UCY. The luxury car worth billions of rupiah was lost when parked at the Residential two housing estate in Gentan Village, Baki, Sukoharjo, last Friday (10/08/21).

Sukoharjo Resort Police's Chief of Criminal Investigation Unit, Pol. Commissioner Attendant Tarjono Sapto, the perpetrator during the theft, allegedly used a fake key. However, the chief of the Criminal Investigation Unit believes that the officers have secured the original key and a duplicate car key along with the Vehicle License Number.

"Because we have secured the two keys, there are allegations that the perpetrators falsified the car keys when they took the American-made car away," he explained.
