Inp.polri.go.id - Jakarta. The House of Representatives (DPR) and the government officially unanimously passed the 2026 State Budget (RAPBN) in the 5th Plenary Session on Tuesday (23/9/2025), chaired by House Speaker Puan Maharani.
The budget sets state spending at Rp 3,842.72 trillion (around USD 236 billion), according to antaranews.com.
The 2026 budget allocates Rp 3,149.73 trillion for central government spending and Rp 692.99 trillion for transfers to regions. State revenue is projected at Rp 3,153.58 trillion, leaving a deficit of Rp698.15 trillion, equivalent to 2.68% of GDP. Key assumptions include 5.4% economic growth, 2.5% inflation, and an exchange rate of Rp16,500 per US dollar.
The budget also targets reductions in poverty and unemployment, alongside commitments to cut greenhouse gas emissions and strengthen human capital development.
