Inp.polri.go.id - Jakarta. The Ministry of Health announced  on Saturday (5/10/2024) that accessing emergency medical services through the 119 hotline has become easier with the launch of the SATUSEHAT Mobile application to reach emergency services via a single platform.

Sumarjaya, the Head of the Health Crisis Center, explained that contacting 119 through SATUSEHAT Mobile is similar to making a regular phone call but offers enhanced accessibility.

To use the service, users need to press and hold the SATUSEHAT app, select "Emergency Medical" to call 119, and follow the prompts to describe their condition. Medical assistance and ambulances will then be dispatched, according to antaranews.com.

Residents across Indonesia can contact 119 using the same number, and in areas without a Public Safety Center, calls will be redirected to the nearest hospital.

This service follows the Minister of Health Regulation No. 19 of 2016, which governs integrated emergency response protocols, including guidance on initial actions, ambulance dispatch, and patient transportation.
