Inp.polri.go.id - Bandung. Persib Bandung has accepted the disciplinary sanctions from the Indonesian Football Association (PSSI) following supporter riots after their match against Persija Jakarta at Si Jalak Harupat Stadium on 23 September 2024.

PT PERSIB Vice President Andang Ruhiat acknowledged the penalties, which include a two-match home ban with no spectators, closure of the north and south stands for three consecutive matches, and a fine of Rp 295 million, as reported by antaranews.com.

He emphasized the club’s commitment to improving match safety and urged all stakeholders to maintain order to avoid future incidents.

“It has harmed the club both materially and morally, particularly fans who regularly support the team peacefully,” Andang said, regretting the unrest.

Persib plans to work closely with the police, match organizers, and supporter communities to prevent similar incidents, ensuring a safe and family-friendly football atmosphere.
