inp.polri.go.id - The National Police Traffic Corps held a training for driving license examiners (SIM) to improve their service. The training was attended by 30 participants from representatives of each Regional Police. The training was held for six days, from 18 to 23 July 2022 at the Kristal Hotel, Cilandak, South Jakarta. This training activity is an assessment process to provide a certificate of competence for the examiners. The activity was held under the supervision of the Assessor team. This assessment process observed the two methodologies of data collecting. The first is in the form of DPT (Written Question List/Multiple Choice), and the second one is through the Oral Questionnaire. In this methodology there are competency test materials that have been applied and determined by assessors compiled by the National Police LSP. The Head of Driving License Sub-Directorate, Police Commissioner Djati Utomo, said that this Driving License Competency training was intended to boost the ability of examiners in knowledge, skills, and attitudes that refer to the performance standards that have been set. He hoped that members could show a very significant change in performance after completing the training. One of the performances that must be improved is in terms of technology and information systems. "By giving them the knowledge, both theory and the practical method, hopefully they could implement it in their duty as well as possible. This is so that our service, especially the Driving License Sub-Directorate, could be better than ever," explained Head of Driving License Sub-Directorate of the Traffic Corps, Friday (22/7/22). Commissioner Djati Utomo added that the participants had been provided with abilities, skills, and attitudes, so that it was hoped that there would be a change in attitude and mentality in terms of their service to the community.
