Inp.polri.go.id - Jakarta. Ester Nurumi Tri Wardoyo secured Indonesia's position as Group C winners in the 2026 Uber Cup after defeating Taiwan’s Huang Yu Hsun in Denmark on Tuesday (28/4/2026). 

Ester won the decisive final match in a three-game thriller, 15-21, 21-19, 21-12, at Forum Horsens to seal a narrow 3-2 overall victory.

Indonesia’s path to the quarter-finals began with a win from Putri Kusuma Wardani, though Taiwan briefly took the lead after victories in the first doubles and second singles matches. Rachel Allessya Rose and Febi Setianingrum leveled the score 2-2 in a dramatic comeback before Ester’s final victory. 

The Indonesian squad heads into the knockout stage with an undefeated group record, marking a significant momentum boost for the team.
