inp.polri.go.id - South Tangerang. A security guard with the initials of D (50) was stabbed by his colleague on M Toha street, Pondok Cabe Udik district, South Tangerang City. The incident occurred on Friday (8/30/2024).

Head of South Tangerang Sub-regional Police, Superintendent Victor Inkiriwang says the perpetrator, A (47), was D’s colleague and they knew each other as fellow security guards.

“The victim and the suspect are both security guard members,” says Victor on Saturday (8/31/2024).

The horrifying incident occurred on a bustling street when the victim was waiting at the red light. This made the incident shake many people at the scene and the criminal actions immediately went viral in social media.

People at the scene immediately secured the suspect and gave him to the police. Police then arrest A with the evidence of a knife used to stab his friend.

For his crime, A will be charged with Article 351 Paragraph 3 of the Criminal Code concerning Serious Assault, Article 338 of the Criminal Code concerning Murder and/or Article 340 of the Criminal Code concerning Premeditated Murder.
