Head of Public Relations of 2024 Damai Cartenz Operation, Superintendent Bayu Suseno explained that Pilot Philip was successfully freed and picked up by the joint team located in Yuguru Village, Maibarok District, Nduga Regency and immediately flown to Timika Military Base.
"Yes, that's right, today we managed to pick up Pilot Philip in good health. We flew the pilot from Nduga directly to Timika," explained Bayu
Furthermore, Pilot Philip was immediately taken to a special room for further medical attention while ensuring that Pilot Philip's psychological condition was stable. After the following procedures, a press conference is planned to be held at the 2024 Damai Cartenz Operation Post at Timika Military Base.
