Inp.polri.go.id - Jakarta. Minister of Finance Sri Mulyani Indrawati has called for the creation of an automated and regular data exchange system to enhance tax revenue collection.
“I hope the Ministry of Finance can develop an automated and regular data-sharing system. It’s a breakthrough to build a predictable, fair, and accountable tax ecosystem,” she said via her official Instagram account on Saturday (12/7/2025), as quoted by antaranews.com.
The call was made after a joint coordination meeting focused on improving institutional capacity and revenue integration. Minister Sri Mulyani praised progress in data fluidity, stronger coordination, and improved data integrity across ministries.
This initiative comes amid efforts to meet a revised tax revenue target of Rp 2,387.3 trillion for 2025, down from the initial Rp 2,490.9 trillion. With IDR 978.3 trillion collected in H1, the government must secure Rp 1,409 trillion in the second half.
The total state revenue target now stands at Rp 2,865.5 trillion, leaving a shortfall of Rp 1,663.7 trillion to be collected in H2 2025.
