Inp.polri.go.id - Jakarta.  The government has decided to maintain electricity tariffs for non-subsidized state owned electricity company PT PLN customers unchanged for Q3 2025 (July–September), aiming to support household purchasing power and industrial competitiveness.

“To sustain economic growth, strengthen public purchasing power, and boost industrial competitiveness, electricity tariffs will remain unchanged for Q3 2025, unless the government decides otherwise,” said Director General of Electricity Jisman P. Hutajulu on Friday (27/6/2025), as quoted by antaranews.com.

Tariffs for 24 subsidized customer groups—including low-income households, small businesses, and MSMEs—also remain unchanged. Though macroeconomic indicators like exchange rates, oil prices, and inflation point to a tariff hike, the government opted for stability.

PT PLN is expected to maintain service quality and improve efficiency to control power generation costs.
