The visit was also attended by Governor of Central Java, Ganjar Pranowo, who represented by Central Java Regional Secretary; Chief of Central Java Regional Police, Police Inspector General Ahmad Luthfi; Commander of 4th/Diponegoro Military Region, Armed Forces Major General Rudianto; and primary officials of Central Java Regional Police and 4th/Diponegoro Military Region Command. The Chief of Police is concerning about the increase of Covid-19 cases in the Kudus regency. Therefore, he asked all involved parties, including police and armed forces to intensify their handling of Covid-19. From data gathered, Sigit explains that 7,975 people are tested positive for Covid-19. As a result, 5,918 are recovered and 659 dead. Therefore, this becomes serious attention along with the commander of the armed forces in handling Covid-19 in Kudus. "It is indeed our attention regarding the decreasing bed capacity in Kudus regency. 359 of 393 isolation beds are used (making the percentage of bed occupancy rate) becomes 91%. Meanwhile, 38 ICU beds out of 42 in all of Kudus are already filled (92%)", the former chief of Banten Regional Police explained. Sigit said that, according to those conditions, Kudus Regency is now in a not good condition, moreover if the rising cases also happen in the neighbouring regencies. Therefore, he asked all institutions, including armed forces and police, to handle Covid-19 problems in Kudus until the regency returns to normalcy. "Covid-19 problems are our responsibilities, not just the government's, armed forces, or police. This Covid-19 handling becomes our responsibilities because people's safety is the highest law. Therefore, we all have to move together", he explained. Sigit said that the government, armed forces, and police need people's role to take part in suppressing Covid-19 transmission. At least, according to him, by adhering to 3M of Health Protocols (wearing face mask, washing hands, and avoiding crowds). The former Chief of the Criminal Investigation Agency of the National Police also added that police and armed forces had prepared eight water canon machines to conduct mass disinfection at all place in Kudus. "These water cannons will operate once every three days in Kudus regency to spray disinfectant, with operation pattern is in accordance to three activities: recovering the situation, educating the public, and optimising PPKM Mikro (Micro-scaled Public Activity Limitation Enforcement). If needed, we will supply more water canons", the Chief of Police said. Chief of Police also instructed the Chief of Central Java Regional Police to focus on the worst-affected six villages by deploying one Company Level Unit of Mobile Brigade to guard those villages to avoid outward access during the village isolation. "Besides, all personnel from Community Armed Forces and Police Officers, Battalion, and Mobile Brigade would be plotted in Kudus regency. We hope that the Kudus regency can return to normalcy. Therefore, we targeted zero cases report", he concluded.
