"All elements are expected to work with one vision, one mission, and one goal in realizing a drug-free Indonesia," said Edi Swasono, Acting Deputy for Community Empowerment at the BNN, Tuesday (5/5/2026).

Therefore, the BNN continues to strengthen collaboration with various community elements in efforts to Prevent and Eradicate Narcotics Abuse and Illicit Trafficking (P4GN).

This commitment was recently realized through the signing of a cooperation agreement with the Indonesian Anti-Drug Activists (PANI) and Gaharu Nusantara Bersinar (GNB).

The signing was carried out by Edi Swasono, along with PANI Chairman Dedi Ginanjar and GNB Chairman Vernando Ricardo.

Collaboration is a concrete step in strengthening community participation in creating a drug-free environment.

Edi explained that the collaboration is a strategic step that must be implemented concretely and sustainably.

"The agreement should not remain ceremonial, but must be realized in concrete actions," he said.

The scope of the collaboration includes implementing P4GN socialization and education, early detection of drug abuse through urine tests, the formation and development of anti-narcotics activists, and the involvement of task forces in handling drug-prone areas.

Through this collaboration, BNN hopes to foster stronger synergy between the government and the community in expanding educational outreach and increasing community resilience to the threat of narcotics.

Collaboration is expected to foster a sustainable joint movement to realize a drug-free Indonesia.
