Inp.polri.go.id - Jakarta. Indonesia is advancing collaborative efforts with Thailand to enhance regional stability within ASEAN.
"We share many interests with Thailand, especially in fostering regional stability," said Mirza Nurhidayat, the Director of Southeast Asia at the Ministry of Foreign Affairs, during the launch of a logo commemorating 75 years of diplomatic relations between the two nations, held in Jakarta on Thursday (30/1/2025).
He emphasized the significance of working closely with Thailand, not only to ensure stability but also to promote development across ASEAN. Alongside Malaysia, the ASEAN chair for 2025, Indonesia aims to deepen ties with other ASEAN members, especially Thailand, as reported by antaranews.com.
The Indonesian government also sees great potential for boosting trade, investment, and food security initiatives in the region, with a focus on expanding the role of state-owned enterprises in Thailand.
