Inp.polri.go.id - Jakarta. President Prabowo Subianto reminded the Indonesian Military (TNI) and the Indonesian National Police (INP) that the weapons they carry are a mandate entrusted to them by the people.

“The people have granted the military and police the monopoly on weapons. With this immense trust, you are expected to give your utmost dedication to serve the nation, the state, and the interests of the people,” he said in his address at the 2025 TNI-INPi Leadership Meeting on Thursday (30/1/2025).

The President further emphasized that the military and police are funded by the people, who also provide for their needs. As such, President Prabowo stressed the importance of high levels of dedication and sacrifice from all personnel.

Accompanied by Cabinet ministers and other officials, President Prabowo addressed the TNI and INP officials for over an hour, urging continued cooperation toward achieving Indonesia’s future goals.
