Inp.polri.go.id - Jakarta.  The Indonesian U-23 national team crushed the Brunei Darussalam U-23 national team by eight goals in the Group A match of the 2025 ASEAN U-23 Championship at the Gelora Bung Karno Main Stadium, Jakarta, Tuesday (15/72025).

In this match Indonesia's big victory came thanks to six goals from JensRaven and one each from Arkhan Fikri and Rayhan Hannan, according to AFF records.

Indonesia is now ranked first in the ASEAN U-23 Group A standings with three points, while Brunei is in the caretaker position, according to antaranews.com.

Indonesia immediately took the initiative to attack and were able to take the lead quickly when the game had only been running for two minutes after Rayhan Hannan's pass was met by Raven's shot so that the score changed to 1-0.

Indonesia increased their lead to 7-0 through Raven's penalty kick goal which Brunei’s Khairul Hisyam could not stop in the 41st minute.

Entering the second half, Indonesia returned to attacking play and created another opportunity through Raven's shot which Khairul Hisyam pushed away.

Indonesia managed to increase their lead to 8-0 after Muhammad Ferarri's long through ball found Raven who was able to turn it into a goal in the 62nd minute.

In the remaining time, Indonesia continued to pound the Brunei defense, but until the long whistle was sounded by the referee, the score 8-0 for the Indonesia’s victory remained.
