Inp.polri.go.id - Jakarta. Indonesia has strongly condemned the Israel's bombing of the Al-Ahli Al-Arabi Baptist Hospital in Gaza, Palestine that resulted in the deaths of hundreds of civilians.
"The attack clearly violates international humanitarian law," the Ministry of Foreign Affairs said in a statement released on Wednesday (18/10/2023), antaranews.com reported.
In response to the recent Israel-Palestine conflict, Indonesia called on the immediate establishment of safe corridors for humanitarian access. It urged the United Nations Security Council to take concrete steps to stop the attacks and violence in Gaza, which have caused significant civilian casualties.
"Injustice against the Palestinian people has persisted for a long time and continues to happen," said the Ministry of Foreign Affairs.
According to the spokesperson for the Palestinian Ministry of Health, Ashraf al-Qudra, more than 500 people were killed in Israel's airstrike on the Al-Ahli Baptist Hospital.
