Inp.polri.go.id - Bangkok. Indonesia has fresh opportunities to add gold medals at the 2025 SEA Games in Thailand as several sports enter decisive finals in Bangkok and Chonburi on Tuesday (16/12/2205).
The chances come from rowing, weightlifting, and multiple individual and team events.
In rowing, athletes including La Memo and Mutiara Rahma Putri are set to compete in finals after consistently delivering medals.
Weightlifting also offers major hope, with Rahmat Erwin Abdullah appearing in the men’s 88kg final and M. Zul Ilmi in the 94kg class. Other medal prospects come from archery, pencak silat, triathlon, fencing, bowling, cycling, and sepak takraw (kick volleyball).
Indonesia currently ranks second with 52 gold, 65 silver, and 64 bronze medals. Host Thailand leads with 145 gold, 87 silver, and 59 bronze, followed by Vietnam in third with 40 gold, 47 silver, and 70 bronze.
