Inp.polri.go.id - Jakarta. Indonesia has issued 1,012 Golden Visas by September 2025, generating investments worth more than Rp48 trillion ($2.9 billion), according to the Directorate General of Immigration.
“Golden Visa Indonesia is one of our flagship programs expected to support national economic growth. This aligns with immigration’s role as a facilitator of public welfare,” Acting Immigration Director General Yuldi Yusman said Friday (26/9/2025), as quoted by antaranews.com.
The program, launched in July 2024, grants 5-to-10-year residence permits to foreign investors, top talents, global figures, and former Indonesian citizens. Holders benefit from priority airport lanes, streamlined immigration services, and legal certainty for business.
Of the total investments, Rp 46.5 trillion came from foreign corporations establishing subsidiaries in Indonesia, or around 96 percent of the total. Individual investors contributed Rp 249.3 billion, while other Golden Visa categories added Rp 1.45 trillion.
Yuldi said that visa holders come from 61 countries, reflecting global trust in Indonesia’s business climate. The scheme has also contributed Rp12.96 billion in non-tax state revenue.
