Inp.polri.go.id - Jakarta.  Minister of Finance: Sri Mulyani Indrawati said Indonesia will require Rp 7.45 quadrillion in total investment to reach a 5.4% year-on-year economic growth target in 2026.

“To achieve 5.4 percent growth in 2026, we need Rp 7,450 trillion in total investment within our GDP,” she said during the 2026 State Budget and Financial Notes press conference in Jakarta on Saturday (16/8/2025), as quoted by antaranews.com. 

She emphasized that state spending will act only as a catalyst, with most funding expected from private and state-owned enterprises.

The government projects contributions from private investors at Rp 6,200 trillion, Danantara Indonesia at Rp 720 trillion, and the state budget at Rp 530 trillion. Investment priorities include minerals and coal, energy transition, food and energy security, as well as downstream agriculture, fisheries, and marine sectors.

Investment Minister Rosan Perkasa Roeslani added that Indonesia will need Rp 13,032.8 trillion in domestic and foreign investment between 2025–2029, 43% higher than the previous decade.
