inp.polri.go.id - Jakarta. PT Reasuransi Indonesia Utama or Indonesia Re together with the National Archives of the Republic of Indonesia (ANRI) signed a memorandum of understanding to strengthen archival governance as part of the implementation of good corporate governance principles.
Indonesia Re President Director Benny Waworuntu emphasized that archive management is a strategic asset that supports transparency, accountability, and business sustainability.
"Through authentic and reliable archives, companies have a strong foundation for decision-making while strengthening the competitiveness of the reinsurance industry in the future," he said in a statement in Jakarta on Tuesday (9/2/2025).
The signing of the memorandum of understanding which was carried out in Jakarta, Wednesday (8/27/20255), through an activity entitled "Synergy of Indonesia Re & National Archives of the Republic of Indonesia for Strengthening Archival Governance", includes the arrangement of company document management, increasing human resource capacity through training and certification, as well as technical assistance by ANRI.
As a follow-up, Indonesia Re launched the Indonesia Re Archives Order Movement (Getar), which was signed by the board of directors and will be expanded to all division heads. This program covers seven main aspects: policy, organization, human resources, facilities and infrastructure, management, funding, and archival information.
ANRI Head Mego Pinandito appreciated Indonesia Re's steps in building an archives-aware culture within the BUMN environment.
"This collaboration is expected to be an example for other institutions in managing archives in an orderly, structured, and sustainable manner," he said.
