inp.polri.go.id - Jakarta. President Prabowo Subianto warned the greedy and deceptive businessmen that his government is determined to act firmly against them for the sovereignty of the people.

"If these greedy businessmen think they can continually deceive a nation as large as Indonesia, then I think we will prove that we still exist, are still strong, and we are determined to uphold our sovereignty for the sake of our people," said President Prabowo while witnessing the handover of IDR 13.2 trillion in compensation for state losses in the corruption case involving the granting of export facilities for palm oil (CPO) and its derivatives at the Attorney General's Office in Jakarta on Monday (10/20/2025).

The President reminded businessmen that they cannot hide as the world is getting smaller due to technology and civilization.

President Prabowo urged law enforcement officers to remain enthusiastic, not give up, and continue doing their best for the nation.

"Congratulations on this work. Don't give up, don't be lazy, do your best for your nation, country, and people," said President Prabowo.

He believes that wealth obtained at the expense of the public interest is a form of ill-gotten wealth and will ultimately have a negative impact on the perpetrators and their families.

"I've seen too many officials who are careless, weak in faith, weak in morals. This, ultimately, only brings suffering to their families," said President Prabowo.

President Prabowo urged law enforcement officers to have compassion and empathy for the common people. According to the President, both judges and prosecutors should be able to defend the vulnerable.
