Inp.polri.go.id - Jakarta. Andresius Namsi, Social and Cultural Expert at the new capital, Ibu Kota Nusantara (IKN), invited Indonesians, particularly those in Kalimantan, to celebrate the nation's progress as construction at IKN advances.
He emphasized on Saturday (10/8/2024) the importance of this milestone, especially with Kalimantan becoming the new center of Indonesia’s government.
Namsi highlighted that 2024 was a pivotal year for Indonesia, with the general elections having recently concluded and new leaders set to take office in October.
“We should be grateful for the 79th Independence Day celebrations in 2024. We’re celebrating a year where Indonesia has managed the presidential election smoothly, allowing the nation's development to continue effectively,” he said.
Namsi urged the people of Kalimantan to embrace this moment with enthusiasm, highlighting the need to improve human resources and character development as Indonesia aims to become a modern and advanced country.
He also noted that relocating the government center would transform Indonesia’s administrative landscape, enhancing efficiency and effectiveness.
“This 79th Independence Day is especially meaningful, as it will be celebrated at IKN, a testament to our own achievements 79 years after gaining independence,” he concluded.
