Jakarta Metro Jaya Regional Police Chief Inspector General Karyoto has implemented a tour of duty, involving the transfer, rotation, and promotion of 839 personnel, including officers and civil servants, aimed to refresh the organizational structure and enhance police services.
According to the decree signed by Senior Superintendent Polisi Langgeng Purnomo, the tour of duty is designed to improve service and public protection. The changes are part of a "tour of duty" strategy intended to reinvigorate the team, according to antaranews.com.
Notable appointments include Superintendent Reza Arfian, who replaced Superintendent Arief Kurniawan as the Metro Jaya Police Head of the Registration and Identification Subdirectorate. Superintendent Gogo Galesung has been appointed the Bekasi Metropolitan Sub-regional Police Head of Criminal Investigation, taking over from Superintendent Bintoro, who assumed the new role of a senior investigator at the Metro Jaya Police Criminal Investigation Unit.
In other changes, Superintendent Wahyu Sulistyo will now serve as the Head of the Operations Section, succeeding Superintendent Dhimas Prasetyo. Senior Inspector Syarifah Chaira will replace Superintendent Evi Pagari as Senior Investigator 4 in the General Criminal Investigation Directorate.
Senior Superintendent Polisi Ade Ary Syam Indradi, the Metro Jaya Police Head of Public Relations, highlighted that the reshuffle is aimed at improving organizational efficiency and maintaining high standards of service and protection for the community.
