Inp.polri.go.id - Jakarta. Indonesian National Police (INP) Chief General Listyo Sigit Prabowo extended condolences and financial aid to families affected by the recent fatal accident on the kilometer 58 Jakarta-Cikampek Toll Road.
The assistance, delivered by INP Head of Traffic Corps Inspector General Aan Suhanan at the Karawang Regional General Hospital, expressed sympathy for Nazwa Devira, one of the 12 fatalities in Monday's accident, as reported by antaranews.com on Wednesday (10/4/2024).
Financial support was also provided by PT Jasa Raharja's President Director, Rivan A. Purwantono, without the need to identify violators.
The police continue to identify victims and investigate the accident's causes at the kilometer 58 contraflow lane in Jakarta.
Chief Aan suggested further on-site investigations to uncover victim identities and understand the accident better.
All 12 victims were identified, with 11 transferred to the Kramat Jati Police Hospital for easier family retrieval and burial preparations.
The Monday accident in Karawang involved three vehicles: Primajasa Bus, Gran Max, and Daihatsu Terios. Twelve fatalities occurred, all Gran Max passengers, with no casualties from the Terios and two injuries from the Primajasa Bus.
