Inp.polri.go.id - Jakarta. A whopping 40,500 visitors graced Ancol on the firist day of Eid al-Fitr on Wednesday (10/4/2024).
Head of Corporate Communication from PT Pembangunan Jaya Ancol Tbk, Ariyadi Eko Nugroho, shared the figures, expressing expectations for a surge in visits from the second day of Eid onwards, as many chose to spend the first day with family or in pilgrimage to cemeteries.
"We anticipate visits to rise from Thursday to Saturday this week," he said, according to antaranews.com.
Director of Operations at PT Pembangunan Jaya Ancol Tbk, Eddy Prastiyo, revealed plans for several shows under the theme "Festival Raya Kemenangan" from April 10-21, 2024.
Eid festivities commenced with prayers on the beach at the Stone Area Symphony of The Sea, followed by the Parade Tandu Tumpeng Ketupat and "Live Cooking Big Kuali'' sessions. Musical performances and special concerts featuring renowned artists added to the celebratory atmosphere.
Ancol's Dunia Fantasi (Dufan) also joined in the festivities with the "Keajaiban Hari Kemenangan" show, including the "Live Show Ultraman" and Magical Firework Dance, among other attractions. In addition, culinary delights awaited visitors at the Gambir Nostalgia Bazaar.
