Recognizing the importance of cultivating a superior human resources (SDM) within the INP, Police Senior Superintendent Harry Haryadi, the Head of the Department of Ranks at Chief of INP Staff for Human Resources (SSDM), emphasized the significance of early efforts. "Improving INP's human resources capacity is a crucial step for SSDM in meeting the institution's need for highly skilled personnel," he said during the INP Public Relations Dialogue event on Wednesday (21/6/23).

He further elaborated on the multifaceted approach to enhance INP's human resources quality, which encompasses general education, foundational education, general development education, specialized development education, recruitment of personnel with specific competencies, and educational cooperation, both domestically and internationally.

For instance, in the domain of specialized development education, INP currently offers four training programs that focus on technology-based investigations and criminal inquiries. These programs include cybercrime forensics, technology intelligence, cryptography expertise, and intelligence management in cyber environments.

He highlighted the growing number of participants in these training programs over the years. "In 2021, we had 75 participants, which increased to 285 in 2022. This year, 2023, we have 330 participants attending the IT Specialized Training," he said.
