Inp.polri.go.id - Jakarta. Indonesian National Police (INP) Traffic Corps will mark National Road Traffic and Transportation Safety Day on 19 September 2025 with a nationwide Safety Week campaign aimed at reducing accidents and promoting safe driving.
“National Safety Day is not just ceremonial; it is a collective momentum to build a culture of discipline on the roads. The National General Safety Plan serves as a guideline, and this day is a national reminder for all stakeholders to remain committed to lowering accident rates,” said Brigadier General Wibowo, theDirector of Vehicle Registration and Identification and chair of the organizing committee, on Wednesday (20/8/2025), as quoted by antaranews.com.
The campaign will focus on helmet and seat belt use, traffic sign compliance, and discouraging mobile phone use while driving.
Traffic Corps Chief Inspector General. Agus Suryonugroho asserted that police efforts go beyond enforcement to education, services, and traffic engineering to prioritize public safety.
He called on citizens to treat 19 September 2025 as a moral movement for discipline and responsibility on the roads.
