Inp.polri.go.id - Jakarta. The Indonesian National Police (INP) has launched a special recruitment program to enlist vocational school graduates in agriculture, livestock, fisheries, and nutrition through its Special Competency Recruitment (Bakomsus) initiative.
“This proactive recruitment will target graduates from agriculture, livestock, fisheries, and nutrition programs,” the INP Head of Public Relations Division Inspector General Sandi Nugroho said on Tuesday (5/11/2024), adding that 600 positions will be available.
The INP is also preparing to recruit university graduates in these fields through the Police Inspector School for University Graduates (SIPSS), underscoring its support for national food security efforts.
“We’re recruiting young professionals with specialized skills to support government food security efforts,” Chief Sandi added, as reported by antaranews.com.
Brigadier General Nurworo Danang of the INP’s Head of Personnel Control Bureau said that the recruitment aligns with President Prabowo Subianto’s food security initiative, which includes providing nutritious meals for communities. Graduates hired under this program will serve as Bhabinkamtibmas officers, educating communities on farming and livestock.
“The aim is to ensure food security, reduce stunting, and build a skilled workforce by 2045,” he explained, noting that these efforts focus on pregnant women, students, and rural communities.
