Coordinating Minister for Political and Security Affairs Budi Gunawan appreciated the Indonesian National Police (INP) for the eradication of online gambling sites which has been carried out since the beginning of the Prabowo-Gibran administration. The eradication of online gambling itself is one of the noted issues on President Prabowo Subianto's Nawacita.

The Coordinating Minister for Political and Security Affairs explained that the eradication of online gambling will be commanded by the Chief of Police, General Listyo Sigit Prabowo. The eradication of online gambling task will be the responsibility of General Sigit in the online gambling eradication desk formed by the Coordinating Minister for Political and Security Affairs.

He explained that it is undeniable that the work of eradicating online gambling under the INP Police Chief has moved very quickly.

According to the Coordinating Minister Budi Gunawan, the government will also intensify the prevention of online gambling access in the community. Even, taking firm action against financial service providers who usually facilitate online gambling payments.

"We are currently working with the Minister of Communication and we agree to carry out a cleanup," explained the Coordinating Minister Budi.
