inp.polri.go.id - Jakarta. The Indonesian National Police (INP) Traffic Corps continues to promote modernization in traffic accident management through the use of advanced technology.
One example is the 2026 Unmanned Accident Analysis Tool Training and the 2026 Camera Freestyle Training in Cililitan, Jakarta, on Thursday (5/21/2026).
The training, attended by traffic personnel from various regional police across Indonesia, focused on the use of drones for traffic accident analysis and the use of Camera Freestyle in crime scene processing (TKP).
Police Senior Inspector Siswaji, a participant from the South Sulawesi Regional Police Traffic Directorate, stated that the training was very helpful for personnel in the regions, especially those with difficult-to-reach terrain.
"This training is very beneficial for our unit, especially in hard-to-reach areas. Drones are used to analyze accidents in hard-to-reach areas," he said.
He believes that technological developments are essential to supporting the duties of police officers in the field. He hopes similar training will continue to be held so that personnel in the regions will better understand the use of modern technology in traffic accident management.
In addition to drone use, participants also received training on how to operate the Camera Freestyle, which can assist in the detailed identification of evidence at the scene.
Second Police Brigadier I Ketut Pasek Sanjaya Putra of the Bali Regional Police said the technology greatly facilitates members in carrying out their daily duties.
"This training makes it easier for us as members of the Indonesian National Police (INP) to carry out our daily duties because technology plays a crucial role in our assignments," he said.
He explained that on the first day, participants were introduced to Camera Freestyle to document detailed evidence at the crime scene. Then, on the second day, participants directly underwent field practice.
"Camera Freestyle was used to search for detailed evidence at the crime scene, and then on the second day, we carried out hands-on practice," he explained.
Through this training, the INP Traffic Corps demonstrates its commitment to improving human resource capabilities while supporting the National Police's digital transformation in the areas of traffic and accident investigation.
