Indonesian National Police (INP) welcomes the idea of public reporting the police officer who were biased during 2024 General Election to Professional and Security Division (Propam). “If there are INP members who violate our regulations, you are welcome to report it. Propam division would very much welcome the report,” says INP PR Chief, Inspector General Sandi Nugroho on Tuesday (12/5/2023). According to him, it is part of the procedure to act against the biased police officer during the election, and certainly public reports would only help them enforce the law. This would also clear the fog in public society as it would not stays as baseless rumors. INP Chief General Listyo Sigit Prabowo has firmly stated that all police members are required to be neutral on 2024 General Election. INP even has invited various public elements to jointly succeed the election. “We have clear instructions from our chief, so please stop with the baseless rumors,” explains Sandi. (ad/ay/pr/nm)
