Inp.polri.go.id - Jakarta. Jakarta Bhayangkara staged a comeback to defeat Kudus after initially trailing in the first set. The match, part of the 2024 Proliga first round third series, took place in Palembang, South Sumatra, on Saturday (11/5/2024).

In a thrilling encounter, Jakarta Bhayangkara's men's volleyball team emerged victorious over Kudus Sukun with a scoreline of 3-1 (23-25, 25-14, 25-19, 25-19), according to antaranews.com.

Despite facing an early setback in the first set, they managed to turn the tide and secure the win.

Assistant Coach Darko attributed the team's success to their resilience and the additional motivation provided by the support of South Sumatra Regional Police officials.

"Our players perhaps needed time to warm up in the first set, leading to our initial loss. However, they showed great determination and teamwork to bounce back and claim victory," Darko explained.

The match saw Jakarta Bhayangkara dominating the second set with a score of 25-14, showcasing their strength and determination. They continued their impressive performance in the subsequent sets, eventually overpowering Kudus Sukun.

With this win, Jakarta Bhayangkara currently holds the third position in the tournament standings, having secured nine points from three wins out of five matches played. On the other hand, Kudus occupies the sixth position with three points, with one more match to play against the host team, Bank Sumsel Babel, in Palembang.
