Inp.polri.go.id - Jakarta. The Jakarta administration has announced a temporary suspension of the odd-even plate traffic policy on 25 and 26 December 2024, and 1 January 2025, in observance of the Christmas and New Year holidays.

“The odd-even system will not be implemented during these dates due to the national holidays,” said Jakarta Transportation Agency Head Syafrin Liputo on Wednesday (25/12/2024), as reported by antaranews.com..

The decision is based on Jakarta Governor Regulation No. 88 of 2019, which exempts the odd-even policy on weekends and national holidays established by presidential decree.

Syafrin urged motorists to exercise caution during the suspension and to adhere to traffic signs and directions from on-site officers. 

“We encourage road users to follow traffic regulations and prioritize safety,” he added.

Syafrin expected that the Christmas and New Year celebrations in Jakarta would proceed safely and smoothly.
