inp.polri.go.id - The Jambi Police Rimba Police went down to teach children from the Anak Dalam Tribe (SAD) in Bukit Suban Village, Air Hitam District, Sarolangun Regency, Jambi. This program is the police’s effort in supporting Indonesian education. The Head of Sub-Division of General Information of the Jambi Police, Commissioner Mas Edy, explained that the Rimba Police, whose personnel is also from SAD, teaches the children writing and drawing. "This is proof of their contribution to the progress of SAD children," explained Commissioner Mas Edy. The SAD children enthusiastically participated in the activity, even though they have to learn with makeshift tools and facilities, the enthusiasm for learning for SAD children can always be seen from their joy in following the lesson thoroughly. "Although the condition of the place to study is modest and the teaching equipment is minimal, it does not dampen the enthusiasm of the teachers and children in learning," added the Head of Sub-Division of General Information of Jambi Police. He adds that the program is also had been often carried out, it's just that the schedule is uncertain.
