inp.polri.go.id - Various activities were carried out by the Ketapang Police of the West Kalimantan Police in order to get closer to the community.
Such activities were carried out at the An Nur Mosque of Ketapang Police, at Brigjend Katamso street, Sukaharja Village, West Kalimantan, Thursday (25/08/22).
The activity, which was named "Thanksgiving to Orphans in Welcoming the Month of Muharram 1444 H" was directly led by the Head of Ketapang Police, AKBP Yani Permana, accompanied by the Head Logistics, Commissioner Joko Sarwono, Head of the Community Development of the Ketapang Police, AKP H. Sulardi, and was attended by all personnel of Ketapang police and attended by around 80 orphans from various orphanages in Ketapang City.
There was also Ustad Syech Qudus from the Darul Fadillah Islamic Boarding School, who was invited to give some lectures. In his lecture, Ustaz Syech Qudus said that the orphans in Islam is very special, and the recommendation to support orphans is highly emphasized by Allah SWT and Rasulullah SAW.
On the same occasion, the Head of the Ketapang Police, AKBP Yani Permana, said that the activity was a form of the Police's concern for others, especially for orphans.
“This morning we were able to share our share as a form of concern from the Police to the orphans, we hope this provision could help them," said the Ketapang Police Chief.
Furthermore, the Police Chief said, in the future his party will continue to seek social programs to provide assistance to people in need as a form of the Police's concern for others.
