This initiative was spearheaded by the Nimbokrang Police Office during a recruitment event held at SMA Yapis Nimbokrang in Jayapura Regency, Papua, on Wednesday (3/4/2024).
Second Inspector Sindu Matra Wiratama, the Chief of Nimbokrang Police, highlighted the importance of familiarizing twelfth-grade students with the police recruitment process and its requirements, according to antaranews.com.
He stressed the need to provide comprehensive guidance to students in remote areas like Jayapura, covering all aspects of the 2024 police recruitment process, including prerequisites and selection stages.
Chief Sindu detailed the selection process, which encompasses administrative procedures, physical fitness tests, and health evaluations. He emphasized the importance of maintaining good physical and mental health, advising students to refrain from alcohol, drugs, and smoking to ensure successful test results.
Chief Sindu emphasized that the police recruitment tests are free of charge, but candidates must adequately prepare themselves to meet the rigorous selection criteria.
