President Joko Widodo appoint the Chairperson of the Democratic Party, Agus Harimurthi Yudhoyono (AHY) as Minister of Agrarian and Spatial Planning (ATR) or Head of the National Land Agency (BPN). The appointment was held in Istana Negara on Wednesday (2/21/2024). AHY replaced Hadi Tjahjanto who now appointed as the Minister of Politics, Law, and Security who previously filled by Mahfud MD. The resignation of Mahfud from his ministerial position was due to him running for the 2024 vice-presidential election. “In the name of God I vow that I will be loyal to the 1945 Constitution of the Republic of Indonesia and will carry out all statutory regulations for the sake of my service to the nation and state. In carrying out my duty, I will uphold the office ethics, work to the best of my ability, with a full sense of responsibility,” vows AHY during his oath of office. (ad/inp/pr/nm)
