The Indonesian President Joko “Jokowi” Widodo conveys several advices for Hadi Tjahjanto after appointing him as the Coordinating Minister of Politics, Law, and Security, regarding security to investment support. “I have conveyed several messages relating to security and order, and things related to investment support for Indonesia,” said Jokowi in Istana Negara on Wednesday (2/21/2024). Furthermore, Jokowi considers that Hadi is ready to handle issues related to politics, law, and security. According to Jokowi, Hadi is capable as he was the former Military General from 2017-2021. “I think we all know that he was a former general. I believe he is ready and most capable in overcoming issues related to politics, law, and security” said Jokowi. On the other hand, other than appointing Hadi Tjahjanto, Jokowi at the same time also appoint Agus Harimurti Yudhoyono (AHY) as the Minister of Agrarian and Spatial Planning. The appointment of Hadi and AHY was conducted at the same time in accordance to Presidential Decree Number 34 P of 2024 concerning the Dismissal and Appointment of State Ministers in the Advanced Indonesian Cabinet for the 2019-2024 Period, which was stipulated by President Joko Widodo in Jakarta, February 20 2024.
