Inp.polri.go.id - Jakarta. Indonesian top men’s singles shuttler Jonatan Christie won the Hylo Open 2025 title after defeating Denmark’s Magnus Johannesen in straight games 21-14, 21-14 at Saarlandhalle, Saarbrücken, Germany, on Sunday (2/11/2025).
“I felt confident throughout the match after controlling the rallies well and minimizing errors,” said Jonatan, who currently ranks fifth in the world, as quoted by antaranews.com.
The victory, completed in just 45 minutes, marked Christie’s third title this year, following his wins at the Suwon Victor Korea Open and the Victor Denmark Open. Known for his powerful smashes and disciplined defense, Christie showed composure after trailing early in the first game before dominating both sets.
His consistent performance this season further strengthens his position among the world’s badminton elite as Indonesia continues to show strong results on the BWF World Tour circuit.
