Kabareskrim Polri explained that the presence of the Law on the Crime of Sexual Violence (UU TPKS) does not only apply to female victims and children. Commissioner General Drs. Agus Andrianto, S.H., M.H., said this, because they were asked what happened if a man had been sexually assaulted, but was embarrassed to report it to the police. He appealed to men not to be ashamed to report. Because actually, making a report shows that anyone can be a victim of sexual violence. "You shouldn't be ashamed to report, because then it would show and proved that the victims of this crimes are not only women and children, but also men," explained the Three-Star General. He understands that the usually the victims of sexual violence are women and children. However, the Kabareskrim Polri a emphasized that any gender can be a victim of sexual violence.
