inp.polri.go.id – Jatim. East Java Provincial Police Chief (Kapolda Jatim), Inspector General Nico Afinta inspected the Wonokomo Traditional Market in Surabaya, to monitor the distribution and the prices of cooking oil in the market.
"We are here to inspect the Wonokromo Market in ensuring the availability of bulk oil, the distribution to markets, and the price stability," stated Inspector General Nico Afinta, Tuesday (22/03/22).
Kapolda Jatim said that the police and related agencies are trying to coordinate with providers and all distributors to distribute bulk cooking oil to the market so that people can easily get it.
"From our inspection to several kiosks, we assure you the bulk cooking oil, especially packaged oil are available in the market. However for the bulk cooking oil, the amount is not that much," said The Two-Star General.
On that occasion, the 1992 Akabri graduate communicated directly with the sellers and they requested more bulk oil.

Inspector General Nico Afinta revealed that the average need for bulk oil for one kiosk is four gallons, and one gallon contains 17 liters, while the average kiosk currently only has two gallons.
"We will discuss this report with suppliers and distributors of bulk cooking oil so that the price can be back to normal again and the needs of the community are met," concluded Kapolda Jatim.
