inp.polri.go.id – Bali. The Bali Police (Polda Bali) continue to monitor the availability of stocks and distribution of cooking oil by two large companies at Benoa Harbor, Denpasar City. Police officers ensure that prices and stocks in the area are safe and under control for the next month.
Bali Police Chief (Kapolda Bali), Inspector General Putu Jayan Danu Putra ensures that the distribution of cooking oil from producers to consumers is unimpeded.
"We still hundreds of tons cooking oil. Not just two or three days ago, we still have 1,800 tons, which is still enough for 1 month," explained the Two-Star General, Tuesday (22/03/22).
He said that there are two large cooking oil distributors, PT Star and PT Argo, located in Denpasar City. PT Star has a stock of around 1,800 tons and is able to distribute 100 tons per day to the market, while PT Argo is still waiting for the distribution from Java.
"So, these two distributors have been able to supply Bali and until now the situation on the field for the bulk oil is still under control with an appropriate price and still at a reasonable level," said the Akabri graduate in 1989.
Inspector General Putu Jayan Danu Putra confirmed that the authorities had formed a Food Task Force from Polda to Polsek levels to oversee the distribution and the price of cooking oil.
Kapolda Bali appealed to the entire community to report to the police if any mafia or rogue traders were found.
Polda Bali will tighten their monitoring so that the distribution of cooking oil to the people is ensured.
"In each district, there is a Task Force. We will continue to monitor it to make sure there are no irregularities," concluded Inspector General Putu Jayaan Danu Putra.
