During that inspection, he first visited PT Synergy Oil Nusantara (SON) Kabil, CV Murni Inti Sawit Batu Ampar, and the Tos 300 Jodoh market in Batam.
During a visit to CV Murni Inti Sawit Batuampar, Kapolda urged the bulk oil companies not to commit deviation.
Kapolda also stressed to distributors and retailers not to play around with these important goods for the community. “If there are distributors who make any kinds of mischief, report them to me. I will act immediately," he explained.
Inspector General Aris Budiman said that following the order of the Indonesian National Police Chief, the Food Task Force, with the help of the TNI/Polri and the Disperindag, was assigned to monitor the distribution of cooking oil to the public.
For that, the Kapolda appealed to the public not to worry and be afraid regarding the shortage of cooking oil.
"I urge all distributors and sellers not to deviate or sell it at an excessive price. If they persist in doing it, the Police and other relevant officials will take firm action. We won’t let things become difficult for the community just because of a handful of individuals," he said.
The Two-Star General ensures that all daily supplies for the community can be distributed. Because the stock of cooking oil in Batam is safe until Eid.
Head of Public Relations (Kabid Humas) of the Riau Islands Police (Polda Riau), Commissioner Harry Goldenhardt also conveyed that from the inspection of Polda Kepri, they can confirm that the cooking oil stock in the Riau Islands is still safe. "So far, the stock of cooking oil in Riau Islands is safe," he explained.
Commissioner Harry Goldenhardt appealed to the public not to buy cooking oil excessively.
"Don’t buy it excessively so that everyone can get it. I ask the distributors to sell it fairly and equitably,” explained Kabidhumas.
