inp.polri.go.id – North Sumatra Police Chief (Kapolda Sumut), Inspector General Drs. R.Z. Panca Putra Simanjuntak, M.Sc., officially opened the implementation of the Capacity Building Assistance and Binev Regional Police activities by the Community Development Corps (Korbinmas) of the Security Maintenance Agency (Baharkam) of the National Police (Polri) at the Tribrata Hall of the North Sumatra Police, Wednesday (18/05/22).
The event was also attended by the Head of the Bhayangkara Community Security and Order Trustees (Bhabinkamtibmas) Capacity Building Assistance Team, Commissioner Nasrun Fahmi, S.H., along with members, and the Deputy Chief of Departmental Police, the Community Development Chief Unit of the Departmental Police, Sectoral Police Chief, and Bhabinkamtibmas personnel who were present in person or virtually.
Inspector General Drs. R.Z. Panca Putra Simanjuntak, M.Sc., said that the Capacity Building activity is an important activity for all Bhabinkamtibmas to get the training and guidance from the Police Leaders.
"Our leaders have high hopes for the Bhabinkamtibmas personnel who have a central role as the problem solvers in the community," explained the Two-Star General.
Kapolda Sumut explained that currently Bhabinkamtibmas does not only have to conduct the preemptive actions, but also must be able to carry out preventive and law enforcement actions.
"The Director of Community Development and staff must ensure that all Bhabinkamtibmas have been registered in the Community Development Online System V2 application and evaluate all their reports as a standard measuring tool in assessing the performance of Bhabinkamtibmas," said the Akabri Graduate in 1990.
Inspector General Drs. R.Z. Panca Putra Simanjuntak, M.Sc., expressed his gratitude and appreciation for the performance of the Bhabinkamtibmas who have served even to remote villages in supporting Government policies such as BTPKLWN and handling Covid-19, as well as creating a conducive and safe situation.
