Papua - Kasuari programme (Welfare for the People) keeps being campaigned by the Noken Community Development Unit (Binmas Noken) personnel in Papua. One of them is an activity conducted by Police Inspector 2nd Class Frans Maraya, Police Sub-Inspector 2nd Class Semin Pakage, and Police Chief Brigadier Agustinus Bawan on Thursday, September 9, 2021, at 11.00 a.m. at the fish pond owned by Mr Amatus Mote in Bandara Baru Waghete road of Tigi district, Deiyai regency. The activity was started by the departure of three Binmas Noken Task Force personnel from the Deiyai Departmental Police to the chicken farm, goldfish and tilapia seeding pond, and sugar apple and taro plantation, accompanied by Mrs Amatus Mote, wife of Mr Amatus. The personnel first checked the fish seeding pond and gave the aid of fish feeds and mustard green seeds to be planted in the garden owned by Mr Amatus. During the visit, Mrs Amatus Mote thanked the Police for buying the fish feeds and vegetable seeds, so she did not have to go down to Nabire to buy the feeds and seed. Police Inspector 2nd Class Frans Maraya said that "By the touch of Indonesian National Police to the people, people could be closer to Police so good cooperation would happen. The awareness and openness to be able to accept changes, delivered by Binmas Noken through education and assistance could change the life pattern into a better one".
