The Jakarta Regional Metropolitan Police expressed their appreciation to the Grand Coalition of Indonesian Labor Struggle (KBPBI) and the Confederation of All Indonesian Trade Unions (KSPSI) for expressing their aspirations in the Dukuh Atas area and its surroundings orderly and peacefully on Thursday (9/24/2026).

The Head of Public Relations of the Jakarta Regional Metropolitan Police, Senior Superintendent Budi Hermanto, stated that expressing opinions is an integral part of democratic life and must be respected. The orderliness of the participants helped maintain the space for their aspirations while respecting the interests of others who are not part of the demonstration mass.

"We express our gratitude and appreciation to our brothers and sisters from the KBPBI and KSPSI who expressed their aspirations in an orderly and peaceful manner. Expressing opinions is a public right in a democracy, and we appreciate the participants' commitment to maintaining order and respecting others," he said.

Throughout the event, personnel on the ground prioritized communication and a soft approach. The police presence was directed to serve participants and maintain the mobility of residents around the location.

The Jakarta Regional Metropolitan Police also apologized if the traffic arrangements impacted public transportation. Traffic management and engineering are carried out situationally, adapting to developments on the ground.

"We apologize if there is some disruption to travel or public activities. Traffic management is being implemented situationally to ensure that the expression of aspirations can proceed smoothly, while still ensuring the well-being of other community members. Thank you for your understanding, patience, and cooperation," he said.
