The Indonesian National Police (INP) Security Maintenance Agency Chief, Commissioner General Fadil Imran states that part of effort in preparing personnel quality is through disaster management certification. And as of now, the certification would be held for the ranks of Uniformed Regular Police Corps (Korsabhara). “So now, the head of Korsabhara is trying to improve the corps through certification. With this, all personnel would be trained for the certification so that when they are needed, they have the capabilities to help resolving the issue excellently,” said Fadil on Thursday (3/14/2024). According to him, the disaster handling in West Sumatra has been carried out by deploying personnel who has the certificate. Furthermore, Fadil also continue to modernized and digitalized the unit to strengthen their capabilities during the digital era. Through this initiative, it is hoped that personnel would better serve the public. “In the future, we will establish shelter for patrol so that all patrol cars could start their patrol from the patrol pool,” Fadil says.
