Inp.polri.go.id - Jakarta. An accident involving Lamborghini and pedestrian occurred in Penjaringan, North Jakarta on Monday (8/19/2024). The victim is said to be a scavenger.

Head of North Jakarta Sub-regional Metro Police Traffic Unit, Police Assistant Superintendent Edy Purwanto says that the accident occured on early Monday. Police have also arrested the Lamborghini driver with the initials of RK.

"RK was coming from west to the east. Precisely across Pereata Tower, RK hits the victim. After we arrest the deiver, we found that he was not under the influence of drugs nor alcohol," explains Edy.

Edy explains that the unidentified victim was suffering injuries on his feet and head. He died at the location and has been moved to Cipto Mangunkusumo Hospital.

Police also reveals that the car involved in the accident also suffering damages on its body and front mirror.
