Inp.polri.go.id – Maluku. As election campaign begins, Maluku Police Chief Inspector General Lotharia Latif hopes that everything would be going smoothly and in good vibes. In anticipation for any disturbances, he has ordered Maluku police chiefs to intensify their coordination with regional to central General Election Commission (KPU).
“To Sub-regional police chiefs, please intensify your coordination with KPU in your respective regions to form well-prepared plans and schedule for election campaigns,” explains Maluku Police Chief on Thursday (11/28/2023).
He reveals that schemes and campaign schedules is important to anticipate conflicts from occurring in the area. Police will also map and monitor the developing situations while also continuously reminding KPU to active in organizing the election.
“Campaign organizing must be clear to avoid conflicts in the field,” adds Latif.
According to him, police and the military would work together in effort to maintain safe and security of the province. They also invite public to support the security operations in effort to maintain city peace.
