Inp.polri.go.id - Jakarta. The Jakarta Metro Jaya Regional Police arrested a suspect in connection with the death of a South Korean man in Tambun area, Bekasi on Friday (29/5/2026). 

“Indeed, a suspect has been detained,” said Senior Superintendent Budi Hermanto, the Head of Public Relations at the Metro Jaya Police, adding that the suspect’s identity and role are under investigation.

Authorities confirmed that the victim was discovered in a pool of blood with multiple injuries inside his residence. Investigators are conducting forensic examinations and questioning witnesses to establish the motive and circumstances of the crime.

The case has drawn attention due to the involvement of a foreign national, underscoring Indonesia’s commitment to ensuring justice and maintaining public safety. Police pledged to provide updates as the investigation progresses.
